Common questions

How do I add a friend?

Search for their handle, or find them from your contacts. Friendships on Outish are always mutual; you both have to accept before you can see each other's outings. There is no follow model and no friend-of-friend discovery.

Who can see where I am?

Only your mutual friends, only when you post an outing, and only until that outing ends. Outish never shares your location in the background and does not keep a location history. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by the store you downloaded from, not by us.

• iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Outish.
• Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Outish.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

I was charged but don't have access

Open Outish and try Restore Purchases from the subscription screen. If that doesn't resolve it, email [email protected] with the store you purchased from and the approximate date, and we'll sort it out.

How do I report or block someone?

Open their profile or their outing and choose Report or Block. Blocking takes effect immediately in both directions, you disappear from each other's app. Reports go to us for review. If you believe someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services first.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and all associated data from inside the app, from the Profile tab. See Delete account for the full walkthrough and what gets removed.

Who is Outish for?

Outish is for adults 18 and older, and is rated 18+ on the App Store and Google Play.
